Although WolfBase is an offshoot of FoxBase the "flavour" will be a little different as this is a new SG.  I have discussed this with TS and some things will change while others will stay the same.  Read on for enlightenment!   ;D

SG RANKS

NB:  These ranks are for guidance and may change in the future.

Some SG ranks can be earned by being in SG mode and earning prestige for the SG.  Being in SG mode is not compulsory, but promotions will not happen without it.  FoxBase/WolfBase members who wish to come over can join with their original ranks, but please only join if you intend on being active in the SG as the kick/demotion policy for inactivity will be enforced.

On probation - New member
Probationary members are just that.  You need to see if you like us and we need to see if we like you.  Members may stay as probationers for 60 days from date of joining, but after that will be removed if they have failed to make the requirements for membership.

Member - 20k prestige and good standing with the members
A normal member of the SG.  If you benefit from being a member of the SG then then it is only right that you put back into it.  20k prestige is a deliberately low requirement as it allows more casual gamers to gain membership.

Doing the business - 200k prestige
For the more committed player.  This rank gives invite priveleges.  If you care enough about the SG to earn this much prestige then most likely you care enough to invite decent people to it.

Earned it the hard way - 400k prestige AND a 50 villain in the SG.
Like the title says, this is a rank that will take some time to earn.  This rank is a mark of respect from the SG and will carry some privileges with it as the SG progresses.

Chief - 600k prestige, level 50 villain in the SG and exceptional service to the SG.
Promotion to Chief is not automatic, but is at the discretion of the existing Chiefs. 

You must be regularly active.  To be a Chief you must be willing to serve the SG as a whole  Sometimes this can be a pain (like when you are in a mission and someone needs some help with something...like an inf transfer!).  Chiefs are players too and will try to help you if they can.

SG Activity/Inactivity

At the moment the inactive leaders demotion is set at 31 days. 
(This may be reviewed in the future).

Removal from the active roster will occur on day 40.

Members that have been removed due to inactivity may rejoin with no penalty.  You are still considered to be a "member" of the SG, unless you were removed while still a probationary member, and so you can rejoin by sending a tell to a SG Chief, or posting in this forum requesting to rejoin.

The reason that we have an inactivity rule is so that when you come online you stand a chance of teaming with other SG members.  Inactive SG's quickly become dead SG's. 

At a future date, as the SG expands, we may have a "holding" SG where inactive toons can be left for a longer period.

Further Information

Please use coalition chat for in game SG communications.

Although we are not in coalition with any other SG at the moment, we will be in future and it is a good habit to get into now.  (For example, FoxBase is currently 6 SG's in coalition).

All members will get access to the voice server should they require it.

Recruitment for this SG is presently open to all comers.  To face some facts, we are a new SG on a new server.  Therefore we will be recruiting liberally until the SG reaches a reasonable level of size and activity.  This is unlike the policy of FoxBase.

Hi wolfies.. the recruitment has been changed a little in line with the new recruitment policy and a few changes that needed making so that we can make a real go of WBU so please have a little read.. any feedback is welcome !

Although Wolfbase Union is an offshoot of the Foxbase SG and Wolfbase on Defiant and owes a lot to many of the members - founders, leaders and members it's been decided that for WBU to move forward a few changes may need to be made to allow WBU to grow into a SG in its own right.

At present anyone in Wolfbase can recruit, but please make sure the person you're thinking of recruiting  plays regularly, they dont have to be experienced or brilliant players (we're here to help newbies if they need it) but i would ask that when they can they play in sg mode.

Ranks will be changed in the near future to reflect contribution to the sg, in the past several members were given their previous ranks from Foxbase (including me) when they joined WBU.  Some of these people will recieve demotions in the light of the changes. While this is regretable and i dont want to piss anyone off it seems a little unfair to the players of WBU that weren't in FB. Many of them have earned more infamy and played more regularly. This was mentioned to me a few nights ago by one of the WBU members and i have to say i'm in agreement. Unfortunately we cannot demote unless the toon is actually online so we'd be grateful if you're not that bothered about your rank if you could send either me (@deus ex machine) or Dark Sonja (@Bonus) a tell letting us know when you'll be on, or post on this forum.

Wolfbase currently has a holding Sg for the less played toons called Doghouse, if you want to move your WBU toon to this SG or you want to place some less played alts in there send me a tell @deus ex machine.

Anyone above on probation rank is more than welcome to add me to their global friends, that way you can get hold of me when you need to. Also if anyone doesnt play their toons and is going to delete them the infamy would be gratefully received for sharing out to lower level members, as there are currently no 50's in the sg infamy is a little tight.. thanks to all for you help!
