Journey across dimensions to liberate Items of Power from Rularuu.




We’re pleased to announce that the Cathedral of Pain Trial is now
open to Supergroups on the City of Heroes and Villains European
servers. The dimensions will remain in alignment for the next 7 days,
after which the dimensional portals to the Cathedral of Pain will be
closed for 21 days, before reopening once again.

The
dimensional conqueror Rularuu has obtained many powerful relics from
the infinite worlds into which he peers. These rest at the centre of
his great palace in the Shadow Shard, called the Cathedral of Pain.



When the stars align correctly, it is possible to travel to the
Shadow Shard and assault this Cathedral in an attempt to secure one of
these ‘Items of Power’ for your Supergroup. You can obtain the mission
from a working Base Mission Computer or Oracle. A Raid Teleporter is
then required to travel to the Shadow Shard instance and to battle an
Aspect of Rularuu for control of an Item of Power. Upon success, you
will find the Item you’ve won transported to your base, where your
Supergroup can share in the spoils of your victory.
