As some of you already know the site has been intermittently inaccessible from the front page for some time now.  This should now be fixed.   :)

The problem involved the importing of news feeds from other sites, among them the CoH website itself.  In order to get the main page to load reliably the modules that performed this operation have had to be disabled.  This also means that there are presently no news feeds in other sections of the site.   :(

Continuing on a maintenance related note:  My web host will be changing a few things around on the server shortly, but as yet there is no firm date for the changes to be implemented.   >:( 

These changes will almost certainly mean some disruption to the site as all of the necessary changes my end cannot be made before the server configuration is changed.  As a precaution against the site becoming totally inaccessible again I have made some of the changes already, but this may mean that some areas of the site are not functioning as they should.  For this I apologise.  I thought it better to have reduced function and guaranteed availability than full function and gamble on the accessibility.

After recent events on the forum and in game I was planning a significant makeover for the site anyway, but now due to the changes with my host it looks as though this will be forced on me with an indeterminate timescale.

Whatever happens I will try to keep the forum up and running for anyone that wants to continue to use it to stay in touch.
