How do I stop both my Spam and Inbox from being inundated with CapesandCowls forum topic reply emails? I've had a look in forum options but I dont want to go ticking or unticking boxes incase I blow up the universe or something  Roll Eyes I dont mind my spam folder filling up but when it makes it into my inbox I have to delete them and sometimes there are alot

add capesandcowls.info a contact in your mail reader. or add it as "not junk" in security settings or preferences or wherever the "approved" addresses is stored.

Ok I know they are a bit of a pain so heres how to stop them. Well how I stopped em

Profile(on top bar)>>Notifcations and email. untick the 2nd and 3rd boxes and change the dropdown to nothing at all all then save your settings.

that should give you a nice calm inbox.

Yep, like Den says it is an option in "notifications and email".  You can just turn em off.

I will see if I can find an all topics unsubscriber too.  There used to be one but I am not sure if it is still available for this version of the software.  This will enable you to unsubscribe from all threads that you are currently receiving mail from with one click instead of having to unsubscribe from each individually.

I will also have a look at changing the global settings for the board to see about turning the mail notifications off altogether.  They were turned on because it helps irregular visitors know when their topic has received a reply.  If it is annoying folk, then I guess it is counterproductive.  The irregular vistors will just have to visit more, or learn to use the options!   Grin

Ok, you wanted the notification e-mails to stop entirely. Was under the impression you just wanted to get them directly in your inbox instead of in the junk folder. :p My bad.
