As was recently pointed out to me the Arcade is throwing errors on the submission or recall of high scores at the moment.  There is also a problem using the "template" function.

The reason for this is that the Arcade itself had a security hole that needed to be patched.  Unfortunately, since the patch was applied these errors have been appearing.  I am in contact with the authors of the software to see if there is a simple solution to the problem, but it will probably require a reinstall.

To be perfectly honest I hoped that no one would notice (!) as the whole site is about to be renewed very shortly anyway and I will therefore be installing new versions of the arcade (with the patch already applied) along with some of the other software used here.  Guess that plan is now scuppered!   

The new versions of the software are presently untested and so I will be testing them on my local server over the next few days and they should be live before the weekend.  I know that they all work individually, but as has often been the case in the past sometimes they do not work together...
