On the a TF (Flux the Outcasts) last night (ended 2159hs 18th feb) and got the wrong badge for it, we got Vocational instead of Contributor. the only person who got Contributor was Queen Lostris. Other players on TF : AC - DC, Valeo, Earth Golum, and me Blue Artic.

Hello Jessie,

Thank you for contacting the PlayNC Customer Support team. Badges can be awarded for many different reasons. Simply visiting a location, defeating certain enemies or through Task/Strike Forces are just some of the ways badges can be earned.

If you have had an issue with a certain badge not being awarded, please let us know. To help with our investigation we will require the following information:

- Which contact gave you the missions in question?
- What was the name of the mission in question?
- What actions were taken in order to complete the badge / reward requirements?
(edit: did I NOT state the badge and the contact so they would know which missions it would have been!!!  Angry)


Once we have the information listed above, we should be able to investigate the matter further.

Which contact gave you the missions in question?
Flux the Outcasts (from the Pillar of Ice and Flame -Flashback)
(edit: spells it out so they get it!)

What was the name of the mission in question?
last mission was "Take Out Frostfire"

What actions were taken in order to complete the badge / reward requirements?
Completed the TF with AT powers only (no power pools) was meant to get the Contributor Badge but didnt!

Other players with the same problem : AC - DC, Valeo, Earth Golum

I kindly ask that you review my complaint!!

the badge we received was the wrong one because it was for the level range above the one we were in.

IE
Contributor Badge is for completing a TF between level 1 and 14 while only using your Primary and Secondary powersets.

Vocational Badge is for completeing a TF between level 15 and 19 while only using your Primary and Secondary powersets

AND WE GOT THE vocational badge WHEN WE WERE IN THE LEVEL RANGE FOR THE contributor badge!

(edit: spells it out EVEN MORE CLEARLY so they get it!)

Ahh poor Aquilus!  Frustrating!  But sounds like PlayNC are like any other Customer Service Department - clueless!

Just sent a PM to one of the mods on the borads with the hope that he can look into it or find someone who knows wat they are doing to look into it...

just cant believe they are so clueless abt the game, you would think they would need to know stuff abt the game or get training on things in the game to get/do the job .... and if they didnt know wat i was on abt, if they had taken the time to look up the badges i was on abt they would see where the problem lies, even a blonde could see it lol.

true, but would a blonde know what they're seeing (sorry couldn't resist) and ouch, sorry to hear that Aq, and i agree with on the fact that customer support should know the fairly simple things about coh or have references to look through to help whoever is complaining

yes they do suck !! 

if you remember all the trouble i had with lag??

they kept asking for vague details including cpu temperature , dx files etc etc  when on their own forums there were numerous posts linking the fault to their dodgy servers in germany  Shocked

in fact i have only ever seen 1 gm in game , ever
