The NEW Capes and Cowls Forum is now up and running!
Membership is open to all.
Although the forum used to focus almost exclusively on the MMO City of Heroes this will no longer be the case and all are now welcome.
Hope it gives gamers everywhere a place to meet, chat and relax.

Once upon a time, on a webserver far, far away…
Oh, never mind!
If you are an old timer of this site you may well be seeing some welcome changes here (more of this later).
If you are new here then I need to explain:
This site used to be the home of a gaming site dedicated to City of Heroes the MMORPG. A group of gamers (about 300 characters, no idea how many actual players) enjoyed playing the game so much that we opened a forum and a website. This is that site. Of course, over time, all good things come to an end.
Eventually forum activity tailed off, there was acrimonious discussion amongst the players, some gamers moved on to new games…you know how it goes. As webmaster I couldn’t bear to watch as what had once been an active forum and website turned into a spam-linkers paradise. It didn’t seem a good investment of my time to protect the site from these kind of automated (and human) fools if the site was no longer being used by the people it had been set up for.
These developments caused me to delete the site completely. It is only now, after several months, that I can once again see a future for capes and cowls.
OK, you old timers; WAKE UP AGAIN!
I will be redeveloping this site once again over coming weeks. I still intend it to be a gaming site with regard to the front end, but I will also be reinstating the forum for anyone that wants to use it. It will also be open membership, unlike last time.
Obviously I have other plans too, but better to get on with doing them, rather than talking about them. In the mean time, enjoy the new theme.
